Job title: Warehouse Operative
Salary: £9.00 – £11.00 per hour dependant on experience
Benefits: 20 days holiday + Bank Holidays, pension
Hours: Monday to Friday 7:30am – 4:30pm, 40 hour week – additional & weekend hours are often available
Location: Aston Down Business Park, Stroud
Duration: Permanent
The Role:
An exciting opportunity to join a young, friendly, successful and ambitious manufacturing company in Aston Down Business Park. The Warehouse operative offers an excellent opportunity to become an integral part of the team on a temporary to permanent basis.
Responsibilities:
The role will involve a variety of duties throughout the manufacturing warehouse which include but are not limited to:
| · Assembly & production | · Occasional driving |
| · General housekeeping & maintenance | · Other general warehouse duties as required |
| · Picking & packing | |
| · Loading & unloading |
All staff members are expected to take collective responsibility in ensuring a safe and clean workplace
The candidate:
Ideally the successful candidate will have a broad range of skills and ideally have experience in a woodworking and/or manufacturing environment, although not essential.
We are looking for a team player with a “can do” positive attitude. Punctuality and diligence are also essential. We’re a dynamic company experiencing strong growth and consequently there is always the potential for career progression as the production department expands.
