Ligneus believes in supporting the Service Charities and helping those who dedicated their lives to helping others. We help raise awareness of those charities and make donations toward their fundraising.
FirstLight Trust
FirstLight Trust help former veterans get back on their feet. They prove to them they aren’t alone or too different to fit into civilian society. Together they work to build a sense of belonging and being valued. And they do this on their doorstep.
They work out what needs doing and how. They then use existing services if possible, or fund alternatives.
The Royal Navy & Royal Marines Widows’ Association
The Royal Navy Royal Marines Widows’ Association was formed in 2008 by a group of volunteers most of whom are widowed.
The organisation represents and supports widows and widowers and recognised partners of service personnel serving in today’s Royal Navy and Royal Marines.
TroopAID
When service personnel are injured either on training exercise or in combat operations they are admitted to hospital without any of their personal effects or clothing.
Troop AID offer Grab Bags which are handed to injured service personnel in over 27 locations worldwide. In addition to this emergency pack they also supply on demand to the injured service personnel many other items of clothing and footwear such as tracksuits, hoodies, fleeces and trainers.
