Job title: Workshop Operative
Salary: £9.00 – £11.00 per hour dependant on experience
Benefits: 20 days holiday + Bank Holidays, pension
Hours: Monday to Friday 7:30am – 4:30pm, 40 hour week – additional & weekend hours are often available
Location: Aston Down Business Park, Stroud
Duration: Permanent
The Role:
This role is an exciting position within a young, friendly, successful and ambitious manufacturing company in Aston Down Business Park. The Workshop Operative is an excellent opportunity to become an integral part of the assembly team on a permanent basis.
Responsibilities:
The position will involve a variety of duties within the assembly workshop which include but are not limited to:
| · Assembly & production | · Effective communications with other departments |

· Use of air tools such as o Staplers o Pin/Nail guns
|
· Use of power tools such as o Sanders o Table routers o Drills |
All staff members are expected to take collective responsibility in ensuring a safe and clean workplace
The candidate:
Ideally the successful candidate will have a broad range of skills and ideally have experience in a woodworking and manufacturing environment.
